The small National Trust car park by Overbeck Bridge is the starting point for this walk. A footpath from the top right end corner of the car park follows the course of Over Beck |

Either continue with the path alongside Over Beck or pass through the hand gate and climb to the base of Yewbarrow's south ridge where a stile over the ridgeline fence gives access to a higher path above Over Beck which has better views |
