Great Calva - Route One

 

Start - Mosedale NY 327 326 Distance - 3 miles Ascent - 1,320 feet Time - 1 hour : 50 minutes

 

 

Grainsgill Beck Bridge at the head of the Mosedale Valley
There are a few spaces to park beside the bridge and a rough parking area beyond it on the left amongst the bracken

It's now only a matter of following the fence line all the way to the summit ridge
